An IonFlow Installation at Smit Old Age Home, Bhiwandi
Bhiwandi, near Mumbai, sits close to the creek. The water runs deep here - and hard. Very hard.
When we installed an IonFlow Home unit at Smit Old Age Home, the borewell was pulling water at 2,500 ppm TDS and 1,600 ppm hardness. For context, BIS drinking water standards recommend hardness below 200 ppm & TDS below 500 ppm. The entire locality around lives in similar harsh environment.
Here - 220 elderly, mostly destitute residents. And water that doesn't help.
Less than a week later, they noticed.
Skin felt softer. Hair felt different - lighter, cleaner after washing. The kind of difference you don't expect from water, because you've stopped expecting anything from water.
The tiles told their own story. Surfaces that had carried years of white mineral crust began to clear. Not overnight. But visibly, undeniably - within days.
No chemicals were added. Nothing was removed from the water. Just the same borewell water, conditioned by Japanese ceramic beads media, flowing quietly through the building.
